Hey, Shaw. When you have a minute, I've got a somewhat frivolous Admiral request for you.

What's the dog's name this time?

Not a dog, for once. I know they're fine while we're gone but I want to wait until after whatever thing happens to us this month.

This is more...I want to help Harkin with gardening, and he's using these magic glyph things to do it without the whole light setup. I'm interested in learning it too. But I'd need you to request that ability from the Admiral for me.

So I guess I'm asking you for magic powers as silly as that sounds.

With this specific type, you apparently can. I don't know about others. This one's something that comes from Hunter's world- he's the one who teaches it.

I thought it might be a good way to keep encouraging Harkin's magical side.

Mostly help Hark with the gardening. He really likes growing things. But I'd also like to have a feel for what magic is like, so if we're hit with anything strange and magical, I'm not left completely unprepared.

And honestly, it's a tool I can utilize, so I'd like to learn how it works. It'd probably be more useful than a Swiss army knife in a survival situation. But I'm not exactly knowledgeable on what sort of glyphs there are. I've only seen the growing one.
