Hi. I just wanted to apologize for the text I sent you before the whole... sword thing went on. I mean, not for the whole text. I stand by being mad about your overstepping in my life like crazy and spreading horrible stupid rumours about me, but I apologize for the worst person I've ever called a friend thing. That was harsh and not true and intended to wound and I don't want to be the guy that tries to wound people. I hope you're feeling better, since I know you won't let a healer heal your injuries. Just so you know, I didn't let them, either. Down in Zero. That Hakkai guy showed up to do it. Apparently Jesus sent him. Now there's a meddler you never need to talk to about me ever again. Anyway, I understand if you don't answer, but I wanted to say it. See you.

[There's a long pause before she answers.]

Can you. Strip out the passive-aggression and just say the important parts? This is a lot.

No. I don't feel like I owe you that today. [A beat.] Okay, fine. I'm apologizing for being mean the other day when I was telling you how much you fucked me over for no reason. Is that clear enough?

If you won't even listen to your friends on how what you did was out of line, I'm thinking I should just give up.

If you don't see how what you did was way more out of line than what I did, maybe you should.

Listen, I know I was emotional right after it happened and wasn't totally clear on where I thought Will did and didn't cross the line - mostly because I was just relieved he hadn't been tortured to death again - but you spent an entire day when I was keeping to myself and not bothering you or him operating a whisper campaign about what a horrible Warden, boyfriend and person I am. Do you really, truly think that was okay?

You know, there's this thing I call the Malcolm Bright Spin. Someone says "I didn't eat an apple today", and you work yourself into a frenzy over how them saying that means they're triggered by apples because of some childhood trauma they hate your guts because you had a Golden Delicious for breakfast.

Shaw. They called me on the network and they came to my cabin. You weren't there. I know what they said and you don't. Maybe you didn't think it would blow up into what it became, but that's the most I'll give you. But I will temper it with this: how I was feeling in my cabin that day was none of your business or theirs, if I didn't call them to talk about it. How dare you call everyone I know and tell them I'm unstable and require intervention. Is that how we're dealing with interpersonal problems now? Next time I have an issue with you, I should call six or seven people you know in passing and send them over to you to tell you what you think, even though they don't actually know and neither do I?

How about you tell me who you actually sent, because everyone I talked to knew the same quote-unquote 'facts'.

That's it? Ssssoooo, which one of them do you think called Jesus? He came in like a hammer telling me the best thing I could do for Will was break up with him. Or was that someone else they told that told him? I didn't take either of them for loose lips, but we don't, in truth, know how many people have now been informed, consulted or gossiped to, do we? I mean, I'm obviously a huge problem that it takes a village to condescend to.

Jesus called me; he already knew some kinda crap was going on and wanted to talk to both of us.

I know you don't see this as a huge problem. But it was. And I don't regret trying to get help with it, because you and I both know how much worse it would have been if I'd tried to talk you down on my own.

I think you were right all those times a couple months ago; if we're really having this conversation, it needs to be with Graham here.
