[ Root's grip (or what she can manage of one in the shower) on Shaw's back tightens, hips rolling to grind harder against Shaw's thigh. Yes, she's still sore from that stupid fight and from the acrobatics of the talent show performance, but all she registers right now is Shaw. The way she feels and sounds. How strong and steady she is, physically and otherwise. This beautiful, loving person who gives so much even if she doesn't realize it. Root bends her head to kiss Shaw's shoulder, soft and reverent-- and then bites her hard enough to bruise. ]
