[It’s probably a relief, but it’s not… good. Malcolm not engaging, not asking curious, interested questions, not trying to help or even figure out if help is needed, not reaching out… it’s his version of dissociating, or of distancing himself to protect himself. It’s his version of building a wall and getting behind it.]
