The fridge, mostly. The kinds of places I rent don't have gun safes.

That's one reason. I also didn't keep a lot of perishables around, so it was easy storage.

There wasn't a danger, if you had to grab one quickly of it heating up on firing too quickly and cracking the casing from the temperature change?

I didn't keep all of them in there, just the spares.

You don't carry that giant one around with you.

Giant guns are always spares except in active combat zones. It's dumb and impractical to carry around something like that in an environment like this.
