ACTIVE TIMES/PACE: Extremely variable on all counts! I like to boomerang when I can, but if I can't/my thread partner can't, I try to hit threads at least once every few days, and I'm perfectly willing to backtag forever.
BRACKETS/PROSE: Pretty equal preference for either, honestly. If I'm tagging someone else's starter, I'll match their format. If you want to tag one of my own bracket starters with prose (or vice versa), feel free; I'll swap over!
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: I'm generally fine with having any topic discussed/touched on ICly, provided that it's warned for as necessary and handled with respect OOCly (IC disrespectfulness is par for the course sometimes and is definitely not a dealbreaker for me).

IN CHARACTER
PHYSICAL AFFECTION: OOCly, I'm down with whatever; ICly, I'd say standard American social norms apply for how she'd react. Affection doesn't come naturally to her, and a lack of demonstrativeness on her part doesn't mean that someone is unimportant to her - but she doesn't actively hate or shun affection, and she wouldn't respond poorly to a friend offering it to her (but from a stranger or someone she's only met briefly, she'd think it was a bit much).
PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: OOCly, I'm down with it (though I'll admit up top that I'm not the best at writing lengthy fight scenes); ICly, she loves a good fight.
RELATIONSHIPS: Unexpected things happen in RP and I generally take a "never say never" approach, but head's up that Shaw isn't an easy person to be in a relationship with! She doesn't feel or process emotions in any sort of normative way, which often leads to interpersonal problems even with people who she cares about and is trying to do right by; additionally, she's a highly individualistic person who values her independence, and she wouldn't compromise that for a partner. On top of all that, she's grieving the recent loss of a deceased partner. TL;DR - it's possible, but it would take time and development, and there would likely be a lot of opportunities for pitfalls along the way; still, I'm always down for seeing where things lead. If it ever does become relevant, she's bi with a pretty equal preference for men and women (and she's also 100% down for casual encounters that are never meant to lead to anything).
PSYCHIC & PSIONIC INFORMATION: She has zero psychic powers or defenses, though would be very unlikely to react well to someone poking and prodding around in her head without permission. OOCly I'm fine with it, though; feel free to contact me for more info on what her reaction would be in a given context and/or what your character might see inside her head. (That said: while I'd want the player of a psychic character to touch base with me OOCly before having their character pick up on anything specific, you don't need my prior permission to have your psychic character pick up on the fact that Shaw's emotions are as muted internally as they are externally, and that her emotional limitations aren't just something she's lying about because she's scared of feeling things and/or wants to appear artificially stoic.)
MAGICAL INFORMATION: She has no magical or supernatural abilities.
MEDICAL INFORMATION: Physically very fit and healthy. Extensive scarring on her torso, and probably some on her legs/arms, too (all healed). Mentally, she struggles with alexithymia, feelings of unreality, and the occasional bout of paranoia.
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: Offensive subjects include harm coming to her loved ones, harm coming to children (but also having to deal with children on a personal level), ignorant Americans who are dismissive of other cultures, and bigots of any stripe; full-on triggers include being made to doubt her own perceptions and reality. OOCly, I'm fine with any of these subjects/situations coming up in threads.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS
VISUAL: Short. Like, SHORT. Compact, but muscular, and in excellent physical shape. She has two or three piercings in each earlobe (often they're empty, but sometimes she wears a small stud in a couple of them; in a survival setting like Sing she will likely forgo them entirely) and a tattoo on her right forearm (it's very hard to make out the details because she's CONSTANTLY MOVING, but it seems to be a Rod of Asclepius + the letters USMC arced across the top + some other misc designs).
AURAL: Soft-spoken without being shy - when she raises her voice, it's only ever for utilitarian reasons (ex. so that she can be heard over something loud). Her tone is dry and relatively flat by default.

DEMEANOUR: Deadpan and stony around randos and people that she doesn't trust; deadpan and snarky around people she's warmed up to a little more.
