[ Root starts rubbing Shaw's shoulders. ]

[ Aren't you proud she didn't say sixty-nine? ]

[She cups her palm over Root, pressing down lightly.]

All right. [ She rocks her hips a little, fingers pressing down harder against Shaw's muscles. ] Fifty-two.

[She says, as she sloooooooowly but insistently rubs her thumb over Root's clit.]

You start edging towards fifty-three and I'm shutting this whole thing down.

[ Root's chuckle comes out shuddery. She keeps working at Shaw's shoulders, and tilts her head enough that she can nip at Shaw's earlobe. ]

[There's a thing that Shaw has discovered that she really likes to do to Root, and that's combine softness with roughness. So she increases the pressure on Root's clit, dips a finger lower, makes sure Root is worked up and wet enough for a sudden deep thrust in... but she does it right alongside a sweet, gentle kiss to Root's neck, followed by a nuzzle.]

Yes, she's still sore from that stupid fight and from the acrobatics of the talent show performance, but all she registers right now is Shaw. The way she feels and sounds. [Wow Root, who gave you permission to try to wreck her in return? Shaw's breath stutters, and a sound catches in the back of her throat.]

[She murmurs, her finger still working steadily.]
