[If I don't have an active post up, feel free to use this post to have your character call, videochat, text, or knock on Shaw's door.]

[ Root tsks. ]
There's nothing to be afraid of. We're gonna have so much fun.
no subject
[She spins around in Root's hold so that she's facing her, her back is against the railing.]
Maybe I miss you terrorizing me the way you used to. I can take it. Samaritan didn't turn me into glass.
[Not in this way, anyway.]
no subject
[ But maybe it's just not so easy for Root to go back to normal. Maybe Shaw's ordeal turned Root into glass, a thing with sharp, jagged edges that can do so much damage but shatter in the process. Maybe she's afraid of how much it'll hurt her to play these games, or that she'll start crying mid game because reality will seep in and she'll remember that Shaw was gone for a long time and now she's here and the relief will overwhelm her.
Root keeps her cool, though. The taser is tucked in an inside jacket pocket, and it's new enough that she can still easily feel its mass through all that fabric. ]
Now stop stalling, or it'll only be worse when we get there.
no subject
Okay, you got me. Where to?
no subject
[ Root gives Shaw a dazzling smile and starts for the stairs, keeping an arm around Shaw's waist. Once they're in the cabin with the door shut, Root turns to face Shaw and shoves her hard against the wall. ]
Let's get started. Ready or not.
[ The last bit she says as she pulls the taser out of her pocket. So proud of it. Of having cracked the safe open. It's game time. ]
no subject
You packing anything else?
[She murmurs, curling a finger around fabric.]
Might end up needing it. I put up a fight.
[Did you remember the handcuffs, Root?]
no subject
I'm hoping you will.
[ A wicked grin crosses Root's lips. She presses the business end of the taser into Shaw's side, keeping it off for now. ]
Are you gonna fight me all the way to the couch?
no subject
You know? I think I will.
[And she attempts to spin them - aiming, if she isn't stopped, to slam Root up against the wall instead.]

It's a different kind of pain from the tattoo gun, but no less good and exciting in its own way. She'd made a good choice.]
no subject
It's really cute when you fight back, like you could actually get away. But don't worry. I won't let anything bad happen to you.
no subject
[She murmurs once she gets her breath back, as she's shuffled across the room.
... The husky, amused tenor of her voice miiiiiiight make it clear that she means this quite literally.]
no subject
Gladly.
[ She leans in to bite Shaw's collarbone, all while one hand reaches back to grab the padded handcuffs. ]

Too bad we don't have a headboard.
no subject
There's just... not much to improvise with. The couch legs are too wide to get the other cuff around. Getting both of Shaw's wrists cuffed doesn't have que the same effect if both her hands are in front of her. Or she could just leave it as it is for now. ]
We don't need one.
[ She lets go of the handcuffs and
chooses violenceuses the taser again, intent on moving them to the bed, where there are more options for restraining one another. ]no subject
Shaw all-out shudders as the electricity crackles against the sensitive skin of her bare stomach, her eyes rolling back in her head. She drops heavily back against the couch cushions and her fingers lose their grip on Root's shirt, though she does somehow manage to dig her hips up against her.]
no subject
don't @ me idk what they're called don't look at me orzof the bed. No climbing, all the benefits. Which is exactly what Root does after allowing herself a second or two to relish the way Shaw's hips grind against hers.So there they are, Root getting Shaw settled upright on a cushion, hands cuffed behind her, with at least a little back support from the bed frame. ]
How's that? I think you look really pretty like this.
no subject
[Shaw growls, with performative annoyance and very real arousal. She jerks her wrists, rattling the cuffs.]
no subject
No. You're not asking very nicely.
no subject
Sorry. I don't do nice.
no subject
We can work on that.
[ She kisses Shaw, biting down hard on her lip. ]
